This and That About Neckties

I really like the concept of an instant wardrobe if it is done right, meaning it involves quality products and a discount for a multiple purchase, so I developed  “3 For $25″ neckties, which are preowned designer ties combined in complementary colors, such as you see here.  The manufacturers featured here are D’Este, Roundtree & Yorke and Cremieux. Included are two striped ties and one patterned tie in the same color family.

This set of neckwear is also interesting in that the stripes run in different directions.  I’ve come to find out that English regimental ties were developed in the late 1800’s and consisted of diagonal stripes of alternating colors running down from upper left to lower right whereas stripes of American ties are reversed, running downward from upper right to lower left. So there’s a quick history lesson for ya!
