This and That About Neckties

Patriotism doesn’t always come in shades of red, white and blue.  Take this wonderful 70’s vintage tie, which is brown, mustard yellow and white. This earthy  color scheme was popular in the 60’s and 70’s, when this tie was made.

The necktie  is a collage of New York City landmarks, including the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge and the city skyline in the background. Any fan of the Big Apple or proud American can really appreciate the melting pot of immigrants who passed by the Statue of Liberty toward the harbors as well and second and third generations of families who call this place home.
