1940's Cascading Leaves TieWhen it comes to floral themed ties, this one is a favorite.  Four progressively larger leaves fill in this ever widening swing tie which hails from the 40’s.  That was an era of broad ties, big splashes of color and prominent novelty themes.  There was nothing understated about neckties following the end of World War II, and this trend continued into the early 50’s, although on slightly narrower ties.

The orange red background of this 40’s floral tie continues the intended fall theme.  It is not as busy or as layered as many other 1940’s ties are, which is part of its appeal.  A really striking vintage tie.
