This and That About Neckties

I think I can, I think I can, I think I can…I know I can let you in on today’s special holiday!

It’s National Train Day!

This unique toss pillow is hand made from three men’s neckties by yours truly! Yes, I am also a crafter who specializes in pillows and sachets handmade from neckties.

I knew exactly what I was going to do when I spotted a modern tie depicting two trains heading in opposite directions.  One train was just above the other, but I noticed that if I cut the tie just right, I could have them side by side as you see them.  I added two more vintage men’s ties on both ends.  At 8 x 8 1/2 inches, this small decorative pillow is almost a square.
