Jose Cuervo Tequila TieIf you want a reason to celebrate and even if you don’t need one to,

Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

That means “happy fifth of May” in Spanish. This holiday commemorates the Mexican army’s victory over French forces at the Battle of Puabla on May 5, 1862. Today in Mexico it is a holiday primarily in the state of Puebla, where celebrations include food, music and dancing.

In the U.S. today is a day many people celebrate the culture of Americans of Mexican ancestry, much as they do the same for the Irish Saint Patrick’s Day on March 17th every year.

Large stylized blue agave plants, from which tequila is made, grace this two tone Jose Cuervo Tequila Tie, which features the words Jose Cuervo Anejo written in yellow near the tip.  If this men’s tie doesn’t quite quench your thirst, check out our other drink themed novelty neckties.
