Necktie of the Day: International Tongue Twister Day Tie
You cuss, I cuss, we all cuss, for asparagus! (From a Far Side cartoon by Gary Larson)
Or how about this ditty:
Betty bought a bit of butter, but the butter was bitter, so Betty bought a bit of better butter to make the bitter butter better.
In the mood for something sweeter? Try this one:
How many cookies could a good cook cook if a good cook could cook cookies? A good cook could cook as much cookies as a good cook who could cook cookies.
Phew! That’s a tough tongue twister if I might say so myself! I never knew how many there are that twist my tongue and my brain! Personally I still struggle with this well known standard:
Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers
A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked.
If Peter piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
Where’s the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?
