Tommy Hilfiger Heraldic TieHappy Birthday Tommy Hilfiger!

Hilfiger is an all American success story – but not one without its ups and downs.  Hilfiger’s  first foray into fashion was The People’s Place In New York City, which went bankrupt when he was 25.  While he was broke at the time he was offered positions by designer Calvin Klein and Perry Ellis, he declined, instead forging forward with his own vision. Eventually, with the some backing, he founded the Tommy Hilfiger Corporation in 1984, which 20 years later employed 5400 people and listed revenues in excess of $1.8 billion.

Check out our boutique selection of Tommy Hilfiger Neckties, many of which combine disparate and/or complementary patterns for the front and back flap, such as on this Tommy Hilfiger Shield & Star Themed Tie.
